Welcome to the Biggest, Greatest Motorsports event in Malaysia:

1: Entry Fee & Transponder Deposit
Entry fee is RM 400 up-front, with RM 100 to be refunded when the transponder is returned.
- For those with their own transponder, the Entry Fee is RM 300.
- Transponder Deposits will not be accepted on the day. All payments MUST be up-front. If you insist to pay on Event Day, then it’s RM 300: RM 100 is the refundable deposit, and RM 200 is the late-payment penalty.

2: New Registration Process
Registration strictly closes at 4:30pm. Anyone who turns up after, will be refunded their entry fee and not be permitted to take part.

3: Driver’s Attire
Flame-retardant racing suit, helmet, gloves, and long pants as per the Regulations will be strictly enforced. If no proper attire, will be asked to leave and entry fee refunded. Car safety scrutineering will also be strictly enforced.

4: No Free Practice Session
At start of Heat 1 for each Category, 1 fast lap will be conducted behind the Safety Car for systems check and learning the circuit. After 1 lap, Safety Car will slow down to 80kmh, and then pull in at end of Lap 2, to commence rolling start.
This will be explained in more detail during Driver’s Briefing.

5: Registration and Payment Agents
We are happy to announce that we are expanding to make it easier for you to Sign-up and make payment:

We no longer accept payment via Maybank2u.

PARTICIPANTS OVERVIEW

GENERAL ENTRY REGULATIONS
o Entry fee: RM 400 per car per category / RM 300 for categories with 2 heats.
- Multiple drivers allowed
- Incls TWO (2) PASSES ONLY for the Team
- RM 100 transponder deposit will be refunded at end of the night
o CLOSING is the Thursday before the event. Registration after this day will be charged an extra RM 200 for admin charges

VEHICLE
o Must be Streetable and Street-legal with full interior. Bolt-in rollcages are COMPULSORY. Road legal Semi-slick tyres accepted. Tyres List published HERE
o No dedicated, unregistered race cars except for Racing Cars category and Special Kei Compact category
o Slick tyres only allowed in Racing Cars category only
o General rule is: Bolted-in rollcages are still considered Road Cars; Welded-in rollcages are considered Race Cars

TEAMS / PIT
o Team Entry is RM 2,500 and includes entry for 5 cars per team in any category and RM 500 refundable transponder deposit.
o Teams will be provided a dedicated Pit and booth area for promotional activities

MEDIA
Please register your details for Media Pass, email Mochtar at mochtar@ignition.my Limited to 2 passes only. Approval is at the discretion of the Organisers.

EVENT FORMAT
o 3 heats of 5 laps per heat, North Circuit
o 30 cars per heat / category maximum. Total max entries 120.
o Starting position based on ballot during Briefing at 530pm at Media Center.
o First heat of first event starts at 7pm. 2-lap flying practice behind Safety Car during Heat 1.

HEATS FORMAT
o Heat will be led by ‘Control Car’ for 1 warm-up lap / sighting lap
o Control Car will pit-in at end of warm-up lap
o Tourament begins with Green flag
o Tournament ends with Chequered flag at end of 5 laps
